Two Bengals Among Top 10 Risers

Two receivers making splash plays at Paycor Stadium make our list and help boost Cincinnati Bengals Super Bowl odds. They are well-known commodities to NFL fans and perhaps reflect how a top receiver can separate themselves from the rest of the pack in terms of fantasy football value.

Tee Higgins is sixth on our list, rising from No. 46 in last yearā€™s final rankings at FFToday.com to No. 24 in the 2024 preseason rankings at FantasyPros.com.

Entering his fifth season with the Bengals, Higgins has 257 career catches for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns. He missed five games last season but still had 42 receptions for 656 yards and 5 TDs.

The other Bengal in the top 10 is Jaā€™Marr Chase ā€“ you can check out the best Jaā€™Marr Chase fantasy football team names with BetOhio.com. With Chase, itā€™s just a matter of being in top form out of the gate, because he missed the preseason in the midst of contract negotiations.

He is entering his fourth NFL season in black and orange alongside quarterback and former LSU teammate Joe Burrow. Chase had a career-high 100 catches in 2023, even though he missed one game and Burrow was out for the final seven games with an injury.

After three seasons in Cincinnati, Chase has 268 receptions for 3,717 yards and 29 TDs. At Ohio betting sites, as of Aug. 28, the Bengals have odds ranging between +145 and +165 to win the AFC North.

Other Receivers Jumping Up Charts

The top player making a splash in projected 2024-25 rankings, compared to where he was at the end of last season, is emerging Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams. The former Ohio State standout, who finished his college days at Alabama in 2021, has missed parts of his first two pro seasons. But he had 24 catches for 395 yards and two scores in 2023-24, and a potent Lions offense means heā€™ll probably get more opportunities this season.

Williams jumps from No. 76 in last seasonā€™s year-end rankings to No. 44 now, a rise of 32 spots. We also provide biggest jumps in quarterback fantasy rankings at BetOhio.com.

Others making a notable leap forward on fantasy football draft boards are Drake London (up 29 spots) of the Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets WR Garrett Wilson (up 27 spots) and, tied for fourth with 23 positions gained apiece, are Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson and Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson.

The NFL regular season is around the corner, and excitement is building in southern Ohio as the Bengals are expected to bounce back from last yearā€™s injury-riddled 9-8 campaign of a year ago. They have odds ranging from +1200 to +1500 to win their first Super Bowl title.
