If it’s true that practice makes perfect, Cleveland-based JACK Entertainment has got a perfect app for bettors looking to get ready for legalized Ohio betting sites.
betJACK is a new free app that allows sports fans to practice sports betting without spending money. Ohio’s sports betting market is expected to launch no later than Jan. 1, 2023, according to the state’s law.
The state continues to take steps toward legal sports betting. On Wednesday, the Casino Control Commission approved more regulations.
And while it’s true practice can’t simulate game action — the brain and blood pressure respond differently when there’s real money on the line — the betJACK practice app is ideal for trying out different strategies, and seeing where your knowledge of sports is better suited to win you money at sports wagering.
Of course, using a bet365 Ohio bonus code is another way to lower the bettor's stress level, as the operator provides some of the most valuable deals in the state.
Looks Like Real Money Sportsbook
JACK Entertainment created betJACK with Shape Games, a European company based in Denmark and Spain, to look and feel exactly like a real money sportsbook product, according to a news release.
But instead of dollars or crypto, the app allots users 100 tokens per day with the chance to win more tokens if your bets win, the release said. Actual faux wagers can be made on all major U.S sports leagues, international soccer, e-sports, and rugby and players can play spreads, moneylines, over/under, parlays as well as in-game betting.
It’s the best kind of betting because you can’t lose. But you can earn virtual trophies and there will be a leader board tallying up who wins the most bets. There’s also a way for players to connect with friends if they want to do a little off-the-books wagering against each other. Sounds more sophisticated than some online sportsbooks that are live in other states.
“JACK is thrilled to provide a fun and engaging platform to help Ohio sports fans become familiar with the world of sports betting,” Brian Eby, president of JACK Entertainment, said in the release. “Designed with the Ohio sports fan in mind, we are confident that betJACK will not only be a source of great entertainment but serve as an important tool to help Ohioans learn and become comfortable with sports betting.”
Getting Ready for Market Launch
Morten Tonnesen, Shape Games chief commercial officer, said the companies’ “shared commitment to deliver exceptional guest experiences” will lead to a unique sports betting product.
“Along with Shape’s expert knowledge of consumer apps and customer engagement we believe together we have developed the betJACK platform to be an unparalleled betting option for the Ohio sports fan,” Tonnesen said in the release.
betJACK is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play by searching betJACK. Upon the launch of live, legal, real money sports betting in Ohio, the betJACK app will transition to JACK’s full feature platform. JACK Entertainment owns and operates JACK Cleveland Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino, among its holdings, the release said.
