Tipico, a leading global sportsbook operator, will be one of the many Ohio sportsbooks available to residents when the state officially launches sports gaming on New Year’s Day.
On Tuesday, Tipico announced its free-to-play game is now live in Ohio. Sports fans in the state can visit WinOhio.com to play a “scratch-and-win contest to earn sportsbook bonuses, free bets and win an Ohio fan experience with Tipico mobile app (available on iOS and Android),” according to a press release.
Tipico’s “Win Ohio” campaign is set to celebrate the platform launch and reward the state’s most passionate sports fans ahead of the legalization of Ohio betting apps on Jan. 1.
It won’t be long now to get used to, say, BetMGM Ohio bonus codes and those from Tipico and other operators.
The “Win Ohio” game interface features “four new gameplay opportunities every week: for NFL Thursday Night Football, College Saturday, NFL Sunday and Monday Night Football matchups,” the press release said.
With each successful pick on the games, Ohio users will accumulate points in hopes of climbing the contest’s leaderboard, which can be monitored on the contest homepage along with their total winnings and entries.
Free-to-Play Does Pay to Win
Users will collect prizes throughout the contest, including a $10 free bet each week for participation in the contest and weekly bonuses distributed based on leaderboard placement. Prizes include $500 in Tipico bonus funds for the first-place leader, $250 for placing second, $100 for third place and $50 for each of the remaining Top-100 competitors.
In addition to earning bonuses and cash rewards, users will accrue entries into Tipico’s Grand Prize Sweepstakes, which rewards, “10 lucky winners with exciting prizes showcasing the best Ohio has to offer, including luxury hotel stays; five-star dining experiences; premium tickets to Ohio sporting events; and VIP concert tickets,” per the press release. The prize package is worth $1,500, but can also be claimed in Tipico bonus funds, if desired.
